Speech ~NZ & Japan~

What do you think this is? Do you think these are stars? In fact, this is fly larva called glowworms. When I look this picture at first, I couldn’t believe it is fly larva. You can watch it in Waitomo. Waitomo is a town where is in West part of North island of New Zealand. In Waitomo, there are three caves, Glowworm Cave, Aranui Cave, and Ruakuri Cave. You can enjoy tour and some activities like a shearing of rabbits, rafting, and so on. The glowworm is living in all three caves. I would like to watch it live.

I also researched about a cave in Japan. The name of cave is Suse-ja-ana. It is in Aichi, Toyohashi. It is a country-designated historic site. It is said that someone live in this cave in the Jomon period. The earthenware and some instruments such as stoneware and bone or horn implement dug up, and also discovered food leftovers. There are some legends that large snake had lived, and it is hence the name Suse-ja-ana. Besides this, there is buried money which was war funds of Katuyori Takeda. Can you believe it? I can’t believe it!

Speech of Presentation

This festival is called "La Fete des vendanger de Neuchatel" in French. It is held on last weekend of September, and it continued three days and nights. This is main festival in Neuchatel, so it is held on large scale. Wine makers who ride on festival car hand out wines, cheeses, fruits, sweets, etc to audience. We can see Guggen musik parade, fanfare parade, children's parade, too. Look at the right bottom picture. It is called "Corso Fleuri", and it parades through the city. This is made by local artists and craftsman. It is big festival, and warms up very much. I would like to go this festival!
